Director's note

"A Callout Away" was filmed over the course of nine months with over 1,000 hours of footage gathered. These hours were consolidated into 23-minute documentary.

Many volunteers, teams, and agencies were involved to make it happen.

 

As the creator and director of "A Callout Away", I hope it gives some insight on what search and rescue is and what the volunteers of SAR are willing to sacrifice SO OTHERS MAY LIVE...
